Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has agreed to join Leeds United on loan, sources close to the Championship club have told ESPN FC.
Borthwick-Jackson spent last season on loan at Wolves and had not been involved in United's preseason plans.
Mourinho is happy to loan the 20-year-old out again so he can play regular first-team football.
Borthwick-Jackson broke into the United first team under the management of Louis van Gaal and made 14 appearances during the 2015-16 season.
New Leeds coach Thomas Christiansen has been looking to bring in a defender to replace Charlie Taylor, who has joined Burnley, with Borthwick-Jackson his top target.
Borthwick-Jackson could go straight into the squad for this weekend's Championship opener against Bolton.
