Chelsea plan to cancel Charly Musonda's loan at Celtic and send him out elsewhere next season, sources have told ESPN FC.
Musonda is currently receiving treatment on a shoulder injury at Chelsea and he is unlikely to feature for Celtic for the remainder of the season as they aim to complete a second successive treble.
Celtic signed the attacking midfielder on an 18-month loan deal during the January transfer window as Chelsea wanted him to gain some valuable first-team experience.
But Musonda, who signed a new deal at Chelsea in December, has been unable to establish himself as a regular at Celtic, making just three starts with a five more appearances off the bench.
Chelsea have been unhappy with Musonda's lack of opportunities after the club rejected offers from several other sides in January to take him on loan, as they feel he needs to be playing regular first-team football.
Musonda made his Chelsea first-team debut in the Community Shield defeat against Arsenal last summer before making his first start in the EFL Cup against Nottingham Forest and scoring in a 5-1 victory.
