Udinese midfielder Rolando Mandragora has been banned for one game after making what the Lega Serie A described as "blasphemous remarks" during their 1-0 win over Sampdoria at the weekend.

Mandragora, 21, will miss the match against Fiorentina on Sunday after the Lega Serie A took action.

"After acquiring and examining the relevant television images, the Bianconero player, while cursing without referring to anybody around him, was nevertheless clearly seen by the television images to make blasphemous remarks, visibly identifiable from reading his lips without any margin for reasonable doubt," a disciplinary report from the Lega Serie A said.

Mandragora is one of two players to be banned following the second round of matches in Serie A, with Sassulo's Marlon ruled out for one game after receiving two yellow cards in their 2-2 draw with Cagliari.
