ISL 2021-22: ATK Mohun Bagan v Kerala Blasters to kick off new season on November 19

ATK Mohun Bagan will take on Kerala Blasters FC in what has now become the traditional season opener of the Indian Super League on November 19. The league announced their fixture list on Monday, with all matches scheduled to take place in Goa, under similar circumstances as ISL 2020-21.

The next day will see Bengaluru FC take on NorthEast United FC. After a controversy-filled off-season, SC East Bengal will begin their season with a match against Jamshedpur FC on November 21 while title-holders Mumbai City FC would renew hostilities with FC Goa the next day. Hyderabad face Chennaiyin on November 23.

The first instalment of India's premier rivalry - the Kolkata derby of SC East Bengal vs ATK Mohun Bagan -- will be played on November 27.

The 2021-22 season will feature 115 games, of which only the first 11 rounds involving 55 matches, to run till January 9, 2022 have been unveiled as of now.

This season, there will be double headers on Saturday with the second game starting as late as 9:30 pm. The regular weekday schedule remains unchanged with matches kicking off at 7:30 pm.

All matches will be telecast on Disney+ Hotstar and the Star Sports TV network.
