It was another entertaining weekend of club football with big results across Europe. Manchester United put Arsenal out of the FA Cup, but other top clubs like Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea comfortably sealed their passage through to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Barcelona have won their first trophy under Hansi Flick, after a demolition job against Real Madrid saw them win 5-2 in Jeddah, with Raphinha and Lamine Yamal once again amongst the goals. .

In Serie A, Napoli continue to top the table after their win 2-0 over Verona.

For the first time in their FA Cup meetings, Manchester United beat Arsenal in a penalty shootout.

Not only did Kai Havertz have his penalty in the shootout saved, he also had a torrid time in front of goal in the 120 minutes that were played. He had chances amounting 1.27 xG, but didn't score a goa. It was Havertz's second-largest xG underperformance of his career.
