The U.S. Open will return to Oakmont Country Club in 2025, the USGA announced Saturday.
The USGA also announced that Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York, will host the major tournament in 2026.
The 2025 U.S. Open will be Oakmont's 10th time hosting the major. Shinnecock Hills -- a four-time U.S. Open site -- is also slated to hold the event in 2018.
This year's U.S. Open saw its start marred by multiple weather delays Thursday that wreaked havoc on the schedule. Golfers wrapped up their second rounds Saturday, and the third round was set to get underway at 3 p.m. ET.
