After a solid finish last year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Jimmy Means has continued to strengthen the race team this Winter with the expansion of its new car inventory, an improved motor program, and the addition of manpower to support the upcoming 2019 campaign.
It's obvious that a key component to the effort will be the talent behind the wheel of the #52 Chevrolet. Jimmy is currently in discussions with several drivers and would prefer one wheelman for the entire year but has yet to finalize that position. With the recent developments of silly season forcing new driver moves and closures by several longtime race operations, the team is expanding their search from a full-time driver to include opportunities for several drivers with partial sponsorship funds that could support multiple race deals. One thing for certain, with the recent upgrades, Means Motorsports is confident that they will be even more competitive this year and expects to improve their position in the final standings by 4 to 5 spots.
