UFC 216, taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 7, is headlined by one of the most intriguing matchups of the year. Tony Ferguson, a winner of nine in a row -- most recently a unanimous decision victory against former champion Rafael dos Anjos -- takes on rising star Kevin Lee for the interim lightweight belt. Lee is coming off a dominant first round submission against Michael Chiesa and has had his hand raised in five consecutive.
Demetrious Johnson, arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter of all-time, will also look to set the record for most title defenses in a row with 11 against Ray Borg. This flyweight title fight was initially scheduled for UFC 215 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, but Borg got sick just days prior and it was rescheduled.
Fabricio Werdum takes on Derrick Lewis in a battle among heavyweights. Both are looking to rebound from tough losses, Werdum to Alistair Overeem and Lewis to Mark Hunt.
Who will come out on top?
