The UFC has rebooked a lightweight matchup between former champion Anthony Pettis and Michael Chiesa for UFC 226 on July 7 in Las Vegas.
The 155-pound fight was originally supposed to take place at UFC 223 on April 7. Chiesa was forced to withdraw two days before the fight, after he suffered injuries when Conor McGregor attacked a UFC bus in Brooklyn, New York.
McGregor has been charged with criminal mischief and assault. The case is ongoing.
Chiesa (14-3) has not publicly discussed the Brooklyn incident, other than to immediately state he wanted to rebook the Pettis fight. Chiesa hasn't fought since a submission loss to Kevin Lee in June.
A former lightweight champion, Pettis (20-7) is also coming off a loss in his most recent bout. He suffered a submission defeat to Dustin Poirier in a UFC main event in November.
UFC 226 will take place at T-Mobile Arena. A heavyweight superfight between champion Stipe Miocic (18-2) and Daniel Cormier (20-1) is scheduled to headline the event.
