UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs. Gaethje -- how to watch, plus full analysis

Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone is one half of a fan-favorite matchup of fighter's fighters. Ron Chenoy/USA Today Sports

There's a bit of a video game fancifulness in Saturday's matchup between Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone and Justin Gaethje. If you were sitting around with friends, each with a game controller in hand, playing each other in a fight game, it wouldn't take long before one of you would want to be "Cowboy," the other Gaethje.

But here it is in flesh and blood, this matchup of fighter's fighters, as the main event of UFC Fight Night in Vancouver, British Columbia. The fights are on ESPN+, with the main card starting at 8 p.m. ET. and the prelims at 5 p.m.

Cerrone (36-12, 1 NC) is coming off a second-round TKO loss to Tony Ferguson in June, which snapped a three-fight winning streak.

Gaethje (20-2) has won two in a row, most recently a first-round KO of Edson Barboza in March.

Also on the card are a couple of light heavyweight fights -- Glover Teixeira vs. Nikita Krylov and Misha Cirkunov vs. Jimmy Crute -- plus the comeback of heavyweight Todd Duffee after a four-year absence. He faces Jeff Hughes.
