UFC's key middleweight clash this weekend is official.
Jack Hermansson and Jared Cannonier both made weight Friday ahead of their main event bout Saturday at UFC Copenhagen in Denmark. The middleweight contenders each weighed in at 185 pounds.
Hermansson (20-4), who is ranked No. 6 in the division by ESPN, has won four straight fights and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza at UFC Sunrise in April. The Swedish fighter has finished all but two of his seven UFC victories. Hermansson, 31, has only one loss since 2016, to current light heavyweight contender Thiago Santos.
Cannonier (12-4) has won two in a row since moving down to middleweight. Most recently, the Arizona resident stopped Anderson Silva by first-round TKO at UFC 237 in May.
The 35-year-old Cannonier has fought at heavyweight and light heavyweight in the UFC and once weighed in as heavy as 241 pounds in 2016.
The welterweight co-main event between Gunnar Nelson and Gilbert Burns is also official. Nelson weighed 170 pounds and Burns hit the scale at 171. The rest of the fighters on the card all made weight.
