Former UFC fighter Artem Lobov is returning to MMA.
The 34-year-old Lobov (13-15-1, 1 NC) signed a one-bout deal with European-based Arena Fight Championship to fight on a Dec. 12 card in Marseille, France. Lobov will face Ylies Drijoun (17-6), and the fight will be contested at lightweight (155 pounds).
A fan favorite due to his fighting style and relationship with teammate Conor McGregor, Lobov hasn't competed in MMA since October 2018. After leaving the UFC, he signed with Bare Knuckle FC and amassed a 2-1 record.
Lobov told ESPN he is also hoping to make his boxing debut in 2021.
