After agreeing to return to Oklahoma City, free-agent center Nerlens Noel has asked the Thunder for time to re-evaluate their earlier commitment on a new deal, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Sunday, and the sides are continuing discussions.
Noel, 25, averaged 4.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks off the bench for the Thunder last season, making two starts. He has also played for the Philadelphia 76ers and Dallas Mavericks.
The Thunder on Sunday also agreed to a deal with free-agent forward/center Mike Muscala, his agent, Sean Kennedy, told ESPN.
Muscala, who turns 28 on Monday, averaged 7.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists as a reserve for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018-19.
