Malcolm Brogdon exits Pacers' loss to Bucks with sore left hip

MILWAUKEE -- Indiana Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon left Wednesday night's 119-100 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in the second quarter with a sore left hip and did not return.

The game marked Brogdon's second trip back to Milwaukee following a sign-and-trade in July.

Brogdon finished with 4 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds on 2-for-6 shooting in 11 minutes. Milwaukee outscored the Pacers 37-18 in transition during the victory to improve to 53-9.

For the season, the former Rookie of the Year is averaging a career-best 16.6 points, 7.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds.

Pacers guard Victor Oladipo also sat for the second consecutive game with right knee soreness and is currently listed as day-to-day.

"We've been saying this most of the season, but it's part of the game," Pacers coach Nate McMillan said of dealing with injuries. "You're going to have injuries, they had an injury when we played them last time with [Giannis] Antetokounmpo being out. Guys got to step up and play. We're not going to make any excuses. They were strong on both sides of the ball tonight."
