In Feb. 2025, the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz completed a blockbuster three-team trade that sent Luka Doncic to Los Angeles and Anthony Davis to Dallas.

The Lakers received Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris from the Mavericks, while Dallas acquired Davis, Max Christie and the Lakers' 2029 first-round pick. The Jazz received Jalen Hood-Schifino, the LA Clippers' 2025 second-round pick and the Mavericks' 2025 second-round selection.

Prior to the trade, Doncic had been sidelined with a calf strain since Christmas. With a new team in the new year, NBA fans are eager to see Doncic make his official Lakers debut.

When will Luka Doncic play in his first game with the Lakers?

Doncic was upgraded from questionable to probable for the Lakers home game against the Jazz on February 10th. Tip-off is at 10:30 p.m. ET.
