          DETROIT -- Trailing two touchdowns at home, the Detroit Lions needed a spark before halftime against the Buffalo Bills.

          Detroit pulled from their endless back of tricks as offensive lineman Dan Skipper reported in as eligible then caught a short pass from quarterback Jared Goff before barreling into the end zone.

          Skipper's nine-yard touchdown at 3:01 in the second quarter helped the Lions close the gap to 21-14.

          The Lions are the only team with multiple receiving touchdowns by a non-running back, wide receiver or tight end this season, per ESPN Research.

          Later, Goff connected with star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown for a 66-yard touchdown with 1:41 remaining in the third quarter. The TD snapped St. Brown's drought of three straight games without receiving touchdown.

          St. Brown's 44 yards after the catch on the play marked his most on any reception in his career.
