Dak Prescott was a star at Mississippi State, but few thought the fourth-round pick in this year's NFL draft would get the chance this early in his career to quarterback the Dallas Cowboys.
Injuries to Tony Romo and backup Kellen Moore plus an impressive preseason put Prescott, the pride of Starkville, Mississippi, front and center on Sunday against the New York Giants. Mississippi State made sure to wish its former star, who led the Bulldogs to a No. 1 ranking during the 2014 season, good luck with billboards in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Not only are the Bulldogs wishing one of their own good luck, which is always nice, it's also an excellent recruiting tactic to let Texas high school talent know where the Cowboys' starting quarterback played his college ball.
