Panthers' celebration takes Stanley Cup into Atlantic Ocean

It didn't take long for the Florida Panthers to get the party started in South Florida.

The Panthers made history Monday night, beating the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 in Game 7 to clinch the franchise's first Stanley Cup. Florida didn't get to the finish line without some tribulations -- Monday's triumph came after the Oilers won three consecutive games to force the decisive final contest. But when the final horn sounded, the celebration was one for the ages.

After a champagne-filled night in the locker room, the Panthers took over the streets of Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday morning to enjoy the Florida sun and share the moment with fans.
