Brad Keselowski threads the needle

Just refer to Brad Keselowski's overpowering of front-runners Kevin Harvick and Kyle Larson late at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday as "The Pass."

It was that good, and it's certain to be referenced again and again through this season and beyond.

Following a restart with 19 laps to go in the Chase opener, Harvick and Larson battled for the point as Keselowski approached. While the 4 and 42 cars fought door-to-door, Keselowski lurked, then picked his spot to overtake them both ... right up the middle for a daring three-wide pass.

"I saw Kyle and Kevin racing each other really hard -- they were aggressively side drafting and I was waiting for an opportunity to strike, and it came," said Keselowski, who entered the Chase as the No. 1 seed. "The car stuck and everything came together."

Another restart ensued with six laps remaining, but Keselowksi breezed away for an easy victory -- his series-leading sixth win -- which guarantees the 2012 Cup champion a spot in the Chase's second round.
