NC State leading scorer Grace Hunter will miss the rest of the season after tearing her ACL earlier in the week.
The No. 9 Wolfpack announced Hunter's status on Sunday prior to their 85-69 victory over Boston College that pushed their record to 15-0 and marked the best start in school history.
Hunter tore her ACL during Thursday's win over Duke, the school said. Surgery to repair the tear has yet to be scheduled.
The redshirt junior who transferred from Charlotte was averaging 14.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
With Hunter out, sophomore guard Kai Crutchfield made her first career start against Boston College and played well early before finishing with 10 points.
Kiara Leslie led NC State with a career-high 31 points
