Texas' Rori Harmon expected to play vs. Princeton on Sunday

Texas Longhorns point guard Rori Harmon, the reigning Big 12 Freshman of the Year, is expected to make her season debut against Princeton on Sunday after missing the first five games of the season with a toe injury, coach Vic Schaefer told reporters Saturday.

Schaefer told reporters that he isn't sure how much Harmon, who has practiced the past two days, will play on Sunday, but she will be limited.

Harmon is considered to be the engine for a Texas team that prides itself on tough defense. The Longhorns struggled without her in losing three of their first five games this season, allowing 84.3 points per 100 possessions while turning over the ball 19.4 times per game on average.

After losses to UConn, Marquette and Louisville at the Battle 4 Atlantis, the Longhorns dropped from No. 3 to No. 19 in the most recent Associated Press poll.

Harmon, the Most Outstanding Player at the Big 12 tournament, averaged 11.4 points, 5.0 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game last season.
