An impressive season by Kai Sotto for the Adelaide 36ers has been capped off with the Philippine prospect voted the NBL Fans' Most Valuable Player.
Still a few weeks shy of his 20th birthday, the 2.18-meter center averaged 7.52 points and 4.48 rebounds from 23 games.
His breakout performance arrived earlier in the month, when he scored a career-high 21 points from 17:34 minutes off the bench in a 93-85 loss to the Brisbane Bullets.
Unfortunately, it was ultimately to be a disappointing season for the 36ers as they missed out on the finals after finishing the regular season 6th in the ten-team competition with a 10-18 record.
