Oklahoma State 47, Texas San Antonio 14: UTSA is in just its third year of existence, and last year was its first year as an FBS team. Not much of a contest here, but going to San Antonio and playing should be a fun experience for Oklahoma State fans.
TCU 41, Southeastern Louisiana 7: Hate you, FBS teams against FCS teams.
Baylor 51, Buffalo 17: The Bulls might make this interesting for awhile, but there's not enough offense to go 60 minutes with the Bears. Buffalo was No. 100 a year ago in scoring offense. Breakout game for Jay Lee.
Kansas State 31, Louisiana-Lafayette 27: The Ragin' Cajuns put another scare into the Wildcats, but a go-ahead score midway through the fourth quarter provides the difference. Terrance Broadway throws for three touchdowns, but K-State defends its home field, where it has won nine consecutive games.
Oklahoma 37, West Virginia 20: Something of a breakout game for Blake Bell. The Sooners look good, but tougher tests are coming.
Texas Tech 44, Stephen F. Austin 13: The Lumberjacks were a below-.500 team in FCS last season. No nervous moments for the Red Raiders in this one.
Kansas 31, South Dakota 14: Poor Jayhawks fans had to wait an extra week before kicking off the 2013 season, but Jake Heaps and Justin McCay hook up twice for scores and James Sims runs for 125 yards and a touchdown.
Texas 27, BYU 21: The Longhorns don't bring their A game to Provo, Utah, but come home to Austin with a win. David Ash bounces back from a third-quarter interception to lead the Longhorns on a time-consuming drive that puts them up 27-14 and out of the Cougars' reach.
