No. 18 Utah 62, No. 13 Oregon 20
Utah loudly announced its arrival in Oregon, handing the Ducks their worst home loss since 1977. The Utes' 62 points were the most the Ducks have ever allowed in Eugene.
No. 3 TCU 55, Texas Tech 52
Running back Aaron Green caught a fourth-down pass that bounced off the fingertips of TCU receiver Josh Doctson in the back of the end zone with 23 seconds remaining to give the Horned Frogs a storybook victory.
The lurking undefeateds
A trio of under-the-radar teams in the bottom half of the Top 25 -- No. 14 Texas A&M, No. 17 Northwestern and No. 24 Oklahoma State -- all pulled out tight victories to remain unblemished and in the hunt to slide up the rankings. Texas A&M rallied for a 28-21 OT victory over Arkansas, Northwestern held off Ball State 24-19 and a Texas blunder allowed Oklahoma State to escape with a 30-27 win in Austin.
