Here's a look at how programs in the Pac-12 are faring on the recruiting trail heading into national signing day on Feb. 6.
Arizona
Commitments: 26
ESPN 300 commitments: 1
Who they have: The Wildcats did a terrific job of loading up early with the 2013 recruiting class. At the top, it's filled with speed and talent in the Southern California trio of ESPN 300 athlete Samajie Grant, four-star running back Pierre Cormier and four-star cornerback Derek Babiash. Coach Rich Rodriguez wanted to make sure this class was filled with players who could excel in his offensive system, and he seems to have done that with running backs Mauriece Lee and Zachary Green, and potential standout receivers Prince Holloway, Mario Alford, Lawrence Walker, Nate Phillips and Paul Elvira. The quarterback position is in good hands as well, with junior college signal-caller Jesse Scroggins to go along with Anu Solomon.
Who they want: Arizona could hold tight and be very pleased with this class, but with recruiting always so unpredictable, the Wildcats will continue to pursue additional recruits. There isn't much room left in the recruiting class, but Arizona brought in wide receiver and Oregon commit Darren Carrington Jr. (San Diego/Horizon) for an official visit Jan. 18. Quarterback Khari McGee (Fresno, Calif./Edison) visited Arizona that weekend as well. The Wildcats also received an official visit in early December from offensive tackle Aaron Cochran (Atwater, Calif./Buhach Colony).
