Roma have announced the signing of Antonio Rudiger from Stuttgart on a season-long loan.
Rudiger, 22, arrives at Roma after the Serie A club agreed a €4 million fee to secure his services on a temporary basis.
Roma also have the option to make the deal for the centre-back, who had been linked with Chelsea, permanent next summer for €9m.

The Germany defender told Roma TV: "I'm absolutely delighted to be able to wear the Roma jersey. I've come here to win titles, to win the Scudetto.
"I would like to thank all the Roma fans and promise them that I will give everything for this club."
