Having become a hit since joining Middlesbrough in the summer, Marten de Roon has proved that he's also a decent chap off the pitch too.
After receiving a letter from a young Boro fan as part of a school project, the Dutchman went out of his way to respond.

According to Match of the Day magazine, Boro supporter Henry wrote to De Roon and signed off by saying: "It would be extraordinary if you could reply to me!"
Sure enough, just a few days later the 25-year-old midfielder turned up at the youngster's house to help with the kid's literacy project in person.
What a thoroughly nice thing to do.
