Swansea City full-back Angel Rangel has signed a one-year contract extension to keep him at the Liberty Stadium until summer 2018.
Rangel, who spent the first part of the last campaign as back-up to £5 million signing Kyle Naughton, said he wanted to stay beyond the terms of his new deal, which will take him to 11 seasons with the club.
The 33-year-old Spaniard told Swansea's official website: "It was a very easy decision to sign the contract -- we did not have to talk for long.
"We all know the relationship we have, me with the club and the club with me.
"[Chairman] Huw Jenkins has always been very supportive in every single way, so I am delighted to have extended my contract for another year, and I am looking forward hopefully to having more years at the club.
"I am looking forward to staying here to continue playing football and in the future, I think I will be here as well."
