The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed left-handed pitcher Jorge De La Rosa to a minor league deal with an invitation to major league spring training, the club announced Sunday.
De La Rosa, 35, appeared in 27 games (24 starts) for the Colorado Rockies last season, going 8-9 with a 5.51 ERA and 1.64 WHIP.
A 13-year veteran, De La Rosa spent the past nine years with the Rockies. Before joining Colorado, he pitched for the Kansas City Royals (2006-2007) and Milwaukee Brewers (2004-2006).
