          Oakland Athletics, Chad Pinder agree to deal

          The Oakland Athletics and third baseman Chad Pinder have agreed to a one-year deal worth $2.275 million, sources told ESPN's Buster Olney.

          Pinder, 28, had been eligible for arbitration.

          He had a slash line of .232/.295/.393 in 24 games last season.
