The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled outfielder James Outman from Oklahoma City and optioned rookie left-hander Justin Wrobleski to the Triple-A affiliate Sunday.
The Dodgers (97-64), who were scheduled to complete their regular-season schedule Sunday at the Colorado Rockies, already have clinched the National League's best record and the NL West title.
Outman, 27, returns for his fourth stint with the team this season. He is hitting .148 (20-for-135) with four home runs and 11 RBIs in 52 games with Los Angeles. Outman is batting .279 with 17 homers and 46 RBIs in 69 games with Oklahoma City.
He is a career .231 hitter with 28 homers and 84 RBIs in 207 games since 2022. The Dodgers selected him in the seventh round of the 2018 MLB draft out of Sacramento State.
Wrobleski, 24, earned the save in the Dodgers' 13-2 victory over the Rockies on Saturday, throwing four shutout innings with four strikeouts while allowing two hits and two walks.
Since making his major league debut July 7, Wrobleski is 1-2 with one save, a 5.70 ERA, 26 strikeouts and 16 walks in 36⅓ innings over eight games (six starts).
He was a combined 6-4 with a 3.76 ERA, 104 strikeouts and 31 walks in 95⅔ innings over 20 games (18 starts) for the Dodgers' Double-A and Triple-A affiliates.
The Dodgers selected him in the 11th round of the 2021 draft out of Oklahoma State.
