UFC legend BJ Penn will seek his first win in more than six years this summer, as he has agreed to face Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night on June 25.
Officials announced the featherweight matchup Wednesday. The event will take place inside Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
A middleweight matchup between Johny Hendricks (18-6) and Tim Boetsch (20-11) also was announced for the card.
Penn (16-11-2) is coming off a rough outing in January. The former two-weight UFC champion suffered a second-round TKO loss to Yair Rodriguez.
It was Penn's first appearance since he temporarily retired from the sport in 2014. The 38-year-old is now winless in five consecutive fights. His last win came against Matt Hughes at UFC 123 in November 2010.
Siver (22-11) did not make a single appearance in 2016. The 38-year-old German is 1-3 with one no-contest in his past five fights.
