Following an unsuccessful bid for the UFC's 145-pound championship, Holly Holm is headed back to 135 pounds.
Holm (10-3) is scheduled to face Bethe Correia in the main event of UFC Fight Night on June 17 in Singapore. UFC officials announced the bout on Wednesday. MMAFighting.com first reported the potential fight.
It is a must-win situation for Holm, who has not registered a victory since her stunning knockout over Ronda Rousey for the UFC's bantamweight championship in November 2015.
Fighting out of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Holm lost the title to Miesha Tate at UFC 196 in March 2016. In her most recent appearance in February, the former boxing world champion dropped a unanimous decision to Germaine de Randamie for the UFC's inaugural featherweight title.
Correia (10-2-1) is a former bantamweight title contender who has also suffered through a recent skid. Correia is 1-2-1 in her last four fights and is coming off a majority draw with Marion Reneau in March.
The UFC Fight Night event will be held inside Singapore Indoor Stadium. Also scheduled on the card is a welterweight fight between former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos (25-9) and Tarec Saffiedine (16-6).
