Headlining the event is a battle between women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and top-ranked Valentina Shevchenko in the Octagon. This matchup was initially scheduled for UFC 214 last month but Nunes had to pull out at the last minute due to illness.
The top non-title fight of the night could be a welterweight clash between former UFC champion Rafael dos Anjos and Neil Magny. Other contests of note include Jeremy Stephens against Gilbert Melendez, Henry Cejudo vs. Wilson Reis and Sara McMann vs. Ketlen Vieira.
