Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic withdraws from bout against Roy Nelson

An undisclosed injury has forced Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic to withdraw from a heavyweight bout against Roy Nelson, scheduled to headline Friday's Bellator 200 event in London.

A middleweight title fight between Rafael Carvalho and Gegard Mousasi has been moved to main event.

Filipovic (36-11-2), of Croatia, was looking to make his Bellator debut. The 43-year-old veteran announced his retirement in 2015, after he was suspended by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) for his admitted use of a banned substance.

Despite that announcement, Filipovic ultimately went on to compete overseas during the time of his suspension. Bellator announced it had signed Filipovic to compete for the promotion in March.

Before Filipovic's injury, Bellator had announced the winner of Friday's contest would serve as an alternate for its ongoing World Grand Prix heavyweight tournament.

A welterweight bout between Michael Page and David Rickels has been elevated to the co-main event. Bellator 200 will take place inside Wembley Arena.
