After winning in his professional MMA debut in January, heavyweight Jake Hager will fight again at Bellator 221 on May 11.
Hager, 36, a former star of the WWE ring for over a decade under the name Jack Swagger, debuted at Bellator 214 on Jan. 26 in Inglewood, California. He defeated JW Kiser via arm-triangle choke submission in the first round.
Before his career in professional wrestling, Hager wrestled at the University of Oklahoma, where he was recruited as a two-sport athlete in football and wrestling. Hager went on to become an All-American wrestler as a senior.
Hager's opponent for Bellator 221, which takes place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, has not yet been announced.
