Khabib Nurmagomedov returns from an 11-month absence Saturday to defend his lightweight championship against interim champ Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The main card begins at a special time of 2 p.m. ET on pay-per-view, which fans can purchase here. The prelims are on ESPN+ and FX at noon, with the early prelims on ESPN+ at 10:15 a.m.
Nurmagomedov (27-0) is coming off a nine-month suspension, the result of him leaping over the Octagon fence and attacking Conor McGregor's corner after he submitted the Irishman back in October.
Poirier (25-5, 1 NC) last fought in April, when he dominated featherweight champ Max Holloway in a fight for an interim belt at 155 pounds.
Beyond the main event, the UFC 242 main card also includes three other lightweight fights, including Edson Barboza vs. Paul Felder, plus a heavyweight bout between Curtis Blaydes and Shamil Abdurakhimov.
