Jedrzejczyk (15-3) reigned at 115 pounds from March 2015 until November 2017, making five successful title defenses. Her only losses have come against champions: Rose Namajunas, who dethroned Jedrzejczyk and then KO'd her in the rematch, and flyweight titlist Valentina Shevchenko.
Waterson (17-6), a former Invicta FC atomweight champion, has won her last three fights.
Also on the card is a featherweight fight between veteran Cub Swanson (25-11) and unbeaten Kron Gracie (5-0), the grandson of Brazilian jiu-jitsu pioneer Helio Gracie. Mackenzie Dern returns to the Octagon four months after giving birth to her first child, taking on Amanda Ribas at strawweight.
