Alex Pereira needed less than four minutes to prove who the best light heavyweight in the world truly is.

Pereira, after checking an accidental kick below the belt from Jamahal Hill, sent his opponent to the canvas with a vicious left hook. After he swarmed Hill with ground-and-pound, referee Herb Dean was forced to stop the fight.

Hill came into UFC 300 as the former 205-pound champion without actually losing the belt, as an Achilles injury during a basketball game forced "Sweet Dreams" to drop the title. Pereira then won the vacant title after defeating former light heavyweight champion Jirí Procházka at UFC 295. In just 10 MMA career fights, eight of his wins have come via knockout.

In the co-main event, Zhang Weili retained her strawweight title against her fellow countrywoman Yan Xiaonan in a five-round bout. Also, Max Holloway delivered one of the best knockouts in UFC history with a last-second KO of Justin Gaethje to become the new BMF champion.

Here's everything that took place at UFC 300 in Las Vegas, as Andreas Hale, Brett Okamoto, Marc Raimondi and Jeff Wagenheim break down all the action.
