Los Angeles Lakers guard and soon-to-be free agent Isaiah Thomas needled his former team on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Monday night.
Competing against Detroit Pistons Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas in Kimmel's NBA edition of "Generation Gap," the former Cleveland Cavaliers guard said, "I'm like the Cavs, I'm going to get swept."
The Cavs traded Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics in the offseason, acquiring Thomas along with Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and the Brooklyn Nets' 2018 first-round pick (No. 8 overall).
Coming off a hip injury from the previous season, Thomas played just 15 games for Cleveland before being traded to the Lakers at the trade deadline.
Thomas has had fun with the Cavs more than once this postseason, joking with another traded Cavs player, Channing Frye, about where their travel suits were and posting a group Cavs photo just before Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
