Atlanta Hawks forward Alex Poythress will miss at least three games after injuring his left knee during Wednesday's win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Poythress suffered the injury in the second quarter against the Mavericks. An MRI showed he suffered a capsular sprain and bone bruise.
The Hawks plan to re-evaluate Poythress when they finish a two-game road trip on Tuesday. He will also miss Saturday's home game against the Chicago Bulls.
The 25-year-old Poythress is averaging 5.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in four games for the Hawks this season.
Swingman Daniel Hamilton will be available against the Bulls after missing the first four games of the season rehabbing a tear in his right rotator cuff.
