As a precaution, the LA Clippers shut down the team's practice facility on Thursday after a positive coronavirus test within the traveling party headed to Orlando, Florida, for the league restart, sources told ESPN.
The Clippers could reopen the facility for workouts prior to the team's planned Wednesday departure for Florida, sources said.
The Denver Nuggets and Brooklyn Nets temporarily shut down their facilities last week after positive tests for the virus.
Teams are allowed to send a 35-person group to the NBA's campus at Walt Disney World Resort as part of the 22-team restart.
The Clippers, the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, are considered one of the championship front-runners.
