Munster (Ind.) senior guard Joe Crisman committed to Loyola-Chicago on Tuesday night.
Crisman, a 6-4 shooting guard, chose the Ramblers after also considering Dartmouth, Eastern Illinois, IPFW, Valparaiso and Yale.
"I think they're getting a player that combines a tremendous amount of toughness with a tremendous amount of basketball IQ," said Illinois Wolves coach Mike Mullins, Crisman's club coach. "He's won big in high school and won big with us in the AAU program. He's definitely got a chip on his shoulder. He's definitely going to do whatever it takes to win.
"I think Loyola did a good job of recruiting him. I think it's an excellent fit for Joe. He's a kid who's going to continue to get better. He puts an awful lot of work into the game. Those things pay off down the line."
