Los Angeles Rams activate OL Jackson, Avila ahead of MNF game

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Rams have activated offensive linemen Jonah Jackson and Steve Avila from injured reserve ahead of the team's Monday Night Football matchup against the Miami Dolphins, the team announced.

On Friday, Rams head coach Sean McVay said he expected the pair to play on Monday night. Avila has been on injured reserve since he sprained his MCL in the Rams' season opener. The following week, Jackson aggravated a shoulder injury that caused him to miss time during training camp.

While the Rams are expected to get two starting offensive linemen back from injured reserve, they will be without right tackle Rob Havenstein, who injured his ankle in Week 9.

On Friday, McVay declined to say who would start in Havenstein's place or where Avila and Jackson would play.
