The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Sunday they have signed free-agent forward Jimmy Vesey to a one-year contract for $900,000.
Vesey, 27, had nine goals and 11 assists in 60 games this past season for the Buffalo Sabres.
He has also played for the New York Rangers.
