It was gold and silver for the Americans in the women's gymnastics individual all-around on Thursday. First-time Olympian Simon Biles took home the gold medal, with fellow American Aly Raisman nabbing the silver.
It marks the first time since 2008 that Americans swept the top two spots in the event. Olympians of past and present marveled at the accomplishment.
