Eddie Jones named his England squad for next month's tour of South Africa on Thursday morning, including eight uncapped players for the three-Test series.
Nathan Earle has previous experience having played against the Barbarians at Twickenham last May before touring Argentina with the senior squad.

Ben Earl
Club: Saracens | Age: 20 | Position: Back row
It has been quite a week for the young Saracens back row, whose first England call-up arrives just two days after he signed a contract extension at Allianz Park. Earl's development this season has impressed Saracens boss Mark McCall and earned him a place in the north London club's first team. Although the speed of his rise to prominence is summed up by the fact that Earl does not yet have a profile on the senior squad page of the Saracens website. Last June the intelligent back row played a pivotal role as England reached the final of the World Rugby Under-20 Championship in Georgia. Twelve months on and Earl is pushing for his chance with the seniors.
Jonny Hill
Club: Exeter Chiefs | Age: 23 | Position: Second row
Hill has emerged as the driving force of the Exeter pack in his first season as a first-team regular. He has scored five tries in 19 domestic appearances thus far as the Chiefs finished the regular season top of the Aviva Premiership and maintained their charge for a second successive title. The giant lock was almost lost to rugby before a college application fell through aged 17 and he was coaxed back to his local club. Since arriving in Exeter from Gloucester in 2015 Hill has proven to be a natural in the engine room, with his size making him an effective threat at the lineout. This season he has claimed more lineouts than anyone else in the Premiership (103).
Dan Robson
Club: Wasps | Age: 26 | Position: Scrum-half
Robson has appeared in training squads but is still waiting for his first Test cap, much to the exacerbation of many followers of the Premiership. Having moved to Wasps from Gloucester in 2015 in search of regular game time, Robson has become arguably the standout scrum-half in England's top-flight as his duel with clubmate Joe Simpson has helped push his game onto another level. His season started with a four-try haul on the opening day against Sale and has continued in impressive fashion as he helped guide Wasps to the Premiership semifinals. Robson has a great understanding with half-back partner Danny Cipriani at club level and will be keen to test it on the biggest stage.
Brad Shields
Club: Hurricanes/Wasps | Age: 27 | Position: Back row
When confirming it would release Shields for the tour on Thursday, New Zealand Rugby (NZR) stated that it was "extremely disappointed that the RFU chose to take this unusual step". NZR's gripe is that the Hurricanes captain is still under contract in Wellington ahead of his move to Wasps at the end of the current Super Rugby campaign, but the lure for England is obvious. Shields will arrive in Coventry with a wealth of experience -- and potentially as a fully-fledged England international -- having made his Canes debut in 2012. He is a Super Rugby winner, too, and the combative back row had been on the radar of the All Blacks. A perceived snub in 2016 is rumoured to have prompted his decision to hunt recognition with England, whom he qualifies for through his parents. Shields will want to put the controversy behind him and get on with playing in South Africa.
Ben Spencer
Club: Saracens | Age: 25 | Position: Scrum-half
A former England Under-20 international who made his Saxons debut back in 2012, Spencer has had to be a little more patient in his club career. Having joined Saracens from Cambridge RFC in 2011, the scrum-half was required to bide his time as Neil de Kock and Richard Wigglesworth shared the starting role. However, it has proved a good grounding for Spencer who has seen his first-team involvement increase steadily over the past three years. This season, with de Kock retired and Wigglesworth recalled to the England fold, Spencer has started more often than not and his incisive running and eye for the try line has proved pivotal in Saracens' run to the Premiership semifinals.
Cameron Redpath
Club: Sale | Age: 18 | Position: Fly-half
The son of former Scotland scrum-half Bryan Redpath, Cameron had been due to take his A-Level exams next month. Instead the fly-half, who was born in France but grew up and was educated in England, will need to solve problems of a different kind as he tours South Africa with England. Redpath Jr. has trained with England already this season, including at an open session at Twickenham during the Six Nations, and has clearly impressed Jones in the process. He follows the lead of Marcus Smith in being called up to a senior squad without having made his Premiership debut. His first-team experience at Sale has been limited to the Anglo-Welsh Cup, but he has represented England up to U20 level.
Jack Willis
Club: Wasps | Age: 21 | Position: Back row
At the start of the season Willis' ambitions were no greater than pushing for a place in Dai Young's first team at Wasps. Under the guidance of James Haskell in Coventry, though, the back row has achieved that and a lot more. Indeed, his form at the turn of the year ensured that he finished February as the Premiership player of the month. That form has continued in the closing months of the season, and his tireless work in defence contributed to the run of three straight wins that confirmed the club's place in the end-of-season playoffs. With Haskell and Guy Thompson departing the Ricoh Arena this summer, there are high hopes that Willis can fill the void, along with Shields, next term.
