The ongoing reign of June Mar Fajardo in the PBA sees no sign of slowing down, as the San Miguel Beermen center is expected to receive the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup Best Player of the Conference award.

The four-time league MVP amassed 44.2 statistical points at the end of the semis, which is more than seven points higher than Japeth Aguilar, who is trailing him with 36.7 SPs. Key to the Kraken's overwhelming numbers is another deep playoff run, as he is in the midst of trying to lead his team to a fourth straight Philippine Cup title.

Fajardo is currently tied with fellow San Miguel great Danny Ildefonso for most Best Player of the Conference awards with five apiece. If Fajardo does win the award, which will be given before Game 4 of the finals, it would be his sixth BPC plum, the most in league history.

At the end the semis, Fajardo averaged a league leading 22.9 points, to go along with 12.9 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per contest. In the ongoing finals, the 28-year old is averaging 21.3 points, 16.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 blocks for San Miguel, which is currently leading the Magnolia Hotshots 2-1 in the bset-of-seven series.

Fajardo leads the pack in a BPC race littered with San Miguel players in the top 10. Teammate Arwind Santos is third overall with 36.4 SPs, while Marcio Lassiter (33.8 SPs) and Alex Cabagnot (31.5 SPs) are fifth and sixth, respectively.

GlobalPort Batang Pier superstar Stanley Pringle is tied with Santos in third place, while Blackwater Elite center JP Erram's markedly improved play this conference has pushed him to fourth place. Matthew Wright, Calvin Abueva, Scottie Thompson and Jayson Castro round out the Top 10 in the BPC race.
