Making the case for Jones: He had a breakout season last year as a junior and is poised to be the ACC’s premier receiver this fall. He went from five catches in seven games in 2009 to 62 receptions last season. He’s got great size and hands and is dependable in the clutch. Last season’s performance ranked among the best in school history, and he had jaw-dropping games like his 233 yards and a touchdown in the win against Florida State. He’s capable of giving opposing defensive backs fits, and he’ll continue to do so in 2011.
