GREEN BAY, Wis. – It's a good thing Jim Schwartz is no longer coaching the Detroit Lions. Otherwise, he'd probably take another shot at the Green Bay Packers for their team-building activity on Wednesday.
Coach Mike McCarthy took the team to a shooting range in Little Suamico, Wisconsin, for a day of sporting clays.
In 2012, after the Packers went on a similar field trip in lieu of minicamp practice, Schwartz said at Lions minicamp: "We had no sporting clays today or no amusement parks or water [parks]. [It was a] work day of minicamp."
There was no media access to Wednesday's event, but Packers.com has a photo of – who else? – Clay Matthews shooting clays.
Proof that Clay Matthews was doing the clay shooting, not the other way around. (Photo from http://t.co/zvInKjOyXp) pic.twitter.com/PGD2QOoEG8
